Standing Tall

A new milestone today... Claire has started to support her weight and stand up.

Today we experienced a little daycare drama. It was Claire's first day at Woods Creek Montessori. The morning was filled with lots of tears, all of them Mommy's.

David and I enjoyed one of our last Downtown Lexington Festivals before we have to deal with face painting and pony rides.

Sigler Adventures

C: This week I've been staying at home with my Grandma & Grandpa Sigler while Mommy & Daddy go to work. We've been on all kinds of adventures. I've been on hikes and antiquing. My favorite find, a lovely antique table at Old South Antiques, that worked perfectly as a changing station. :)

Grandma & Grandpa Wright have started construction on their new house! Claire requests a pink playroom and a whirlpool tub for mommy on her visits.

A Special Gift for Mommy

Claire: In honor of my Mommy's birthday, I decided to sit up today! After thirty seconds, I decided to lay down again.

The Greenbrier Treatment

In celebration of my 30th birthday (Thanks Mom & Dad!), David and I headed to the Greenbrier in White Sulfur Springs.  It was beautiful and we really enjoyed a night of sleep! Claire spent the weekend in West Virginia with her Grandma & Grandpa Wright.  She had the chance to visit with lots of her cousins and go to cousin Jeremy and Jenny's wedding shower.  Enjoy some of the photos from our trip.

Out on the Town with Grandpa & Daddy

Claire got all dressed up to have one last night out with Grandpa Bill and Daddy before they drive back north. We went to Grandpa & Mommy's favorite place for margaritas, Maria Bonita's. Claire and Mommy still have a few more days of rest and relaxation before we have to get back to the grind! We are counting down the last few summer days, soon the school year will begin and Claire will start at Montessori.
