It's amazing how easily two one-year-olds can

 be entertained with a riding lawn mower!

Memorial Day Visit with Cousin Thomas

 Claire enjoyed a special Memorial Day

 visit with cousin Thomas. 

We had such a fun-filled few days... 

 Lots of playing in the yard, riding on the tractor,

 a trip to the Safari Park!

Thomas also brought Claire a

 happy belated birthday present. 

 She loved her stacking buckets and her 

beautiful monogrammed cup.

Happy Belated Graduation, Jamie!

Claire and I ventured to C'ville on Saturday to celebrate the graduation of Jamie Marsh, a close friend from my doctoral program.  Jamie and I shared the same dissertation chairs, so it was great to catch up with Steve and Jane at a wonderful cookout at Steve and Sue's beautiful Ivy home. Claire had an exceptionally good time scoping out the yard games and feeding the miniature ponies!
