Back to School

Claire started back to school last week at the Montessori school in Lexington. The transition went very well. She actually cried the first day when I picked her up! She LOVES being back with Mrs. Amanda, Mrs. Kelly, and her school friends.

Downtown Lexington Festival Fun

David, Claire, and I headed to downtown Lex this morning for the Community Festival. Claire had a great time dancing to the Bluegrass and checking out all the vendors. We also found time to fit in a walk on campus.

I had a very busy day yesterday and have been

very neglectful of blog posting.

Oops.

So Claire reminded me that she wanted to wish

one of her favorite people

For those of you who don't know her,

Lulu began as my Mom's closest Florida friend

and has become Claire's biggest fan.

She also seems to be in cahoots

with Mimi Karen to assure that

Claire grows up to be the most spoiled baby ever. :)

Strasburg Visit Flashback

David's parents are visiting this week for a few days. Last night I was sharing some photos of our last visit with them. I realized I never posted them on the blog. So, here you go. More PA visit cuteness...

Claire's West Virginia Visit

Claire spent last week in West Virginia with parents while I worked in Lexington.  I dropped her off last weekend and had to chance to meet our new baby cousin, Ryan.  Claire loved meeting her new baby cousin, however, she was also pretty excited to meet the sticky, red popsicle courtesy of Auntie Cindy.

Elmo's World

 Claire has really enjoyed watching Sesame Street the last couple mornings.  She even dug her Elmo doll out of the toy chest when it was time for Elmo's World. 

A side note...  No, your eyes do NOT deceive you.

 Even though it is a slightly ridiculous one.  

On the Fence

Claire's current favorite word is outside.  She repeats it at least a billion times a day.  It seems to be her word for anytime she feels an urge to be on the other side of a door (sometimes even when she's outside and wants in.)  She had lots of great outside time with Grandma and Grandpa Sigler on our recent PA visit...
