Claire (unsolicited, I swear): Mommy, you are so perfect. Daddy, you are so perfect too also.

Just wanted to that documented for future reference.

It may come in useful when she's sixteen.

Claire has been such a big girl the past few weeks.

She has worn panties to school everyday!

Because she is SO proud,

Mimi Karen sent Claire a card

with five dollars to buy ice cream.

We made a Dairy Queen run for a chocolate cone

following Friday's RCHS football game.

Let's just say this shirt didn't look

the same at the end of the evening...

Sandcastles and High Chairs

Our new house is a few blocks away from the

Stonewall Jackson cemetery.

We pass it on all our walks in town.

Each time we walk past it Claire always says,

"Oh mommy, look at all the sandcastles and highchairs."

I have no idea why.

I suppose the obsolesces remind her of castles.

Saturday, after the VMI game,

we finally stopped and check out all the

sandcastles and highchairs.

Playdate with Addie

Yesterday we had an after-school playdate with Addie.

Me: Claire, do you think we should make a

snack for Addie & Miss Kelly?

Claire: Yes, Mommy.

Let's make something special.

Claire kept insisting something was

missing until we had this spread.

Thanks to our neighbor,

Elizabeth, for the tasty brownies.

Maxin' & Relaxin'

Claire continues to discover new

wonders from our move.

Lately the vibrating Leap Frog infant chair has

been giving Boppy a run for its money.

P.S. Notice the two sippy cups in every picture?

It is apparently VERY important to have options.

Milk and water at all times.

Claire: Oh Daddy, school is so happy.
